As a visitor or customer of the Home Storage & Living website, you agree to the terms outlined in the following terms and conditions. The following terms and condition are in relation to all orders and dealings as a result of or whilst browsing the Home Storage & Living website.

The words we/us/our means Home Storage & Living, PO Box 541, Springwood, Queensland, 4127. The words you and your, refer to customers, associates or visitors of the website.

The following terms and conditions may be updated and amended at a later date, for this reason we suggest you check back regularly to make sure you are aware of all terms and conditions which may affect you as a customer.

 1. Copyright/Trademark

Home Storage & Living and all represented logo’s, slogans and images are trademarks owned by Online Adventure Group Pty Ltd (A.B.N: 31 160 611 932) and may not be used or copied without consent from Home Storage & Living.

 2. Currency and GST

All pricing and currency listed on the Home Storage & Living website is represented in $AUD and is inclusive of GST. Home Storage & Living cannot accept overseas currency or funds from overseas banking institutions. All payment types including credit cards must be issued from Australian banking institutions.

 3. Conditions of Sale

To purchase any goods from Home Storage & Living you must be at least 18 years of age. Home Storage & Living bares no responsibility for under age persons ordering from our site without guardian supervision. Home Storage & Living reserves the right to obtain compensation from parents or guardians of any underage persons where they have resulted in loss.

Providing our customers with safe and secure payment options is the main priority of Home Storage & Living. All credit card transactions processed through our Shopping Cart and Checkout are done so using the reliable and trusted Eway Payment Gateway.

Home Storage & Living protects all Credit Card transactions by the use of GeoTrust Extended Verification SSL providing minimum 256bit Secure Socket layer (SSL) technology, which helps to fight credit card fraud and protect your personal details.

If purchasing products using the Direct Deposit Payment Method, you will receive our banking details in order to make payment in an Order Confirmation Email which also includes a comprehensive Tax Invoice for your order.

Home Storage & Living is unable to send customer orders until payment is received, once payment has been received and cleared, 95% of all orders are dispatched the following business day. Once a customer order is received by Home Storage & Living, if payment is not received within 7 business days, Home Storage & Living has the right to cancel this order.

 5. Shipping and Handling Information

Home Storage & Living uses a highly automated and modern shipping system, with all purchases being sent through the reliable and trusted services of Direct Freight Express Couriers. Once parcels are collected for delivery by Direct Freight Express Couriers, all customers receive a Tracking Email containing all the necessary information needed to track your parcel until it is delivered. Home Storage & Living attempts to send all customer orders as quickly as possible, with 95% of orders dispatched the following business day after payment and purchase are received. Office hours are 8.30am until 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Any orders received on weekends or public holidays are deemed to be received on the following business day and are normally dispatched the following business day. For example, customer orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday are deemed as received on a Monday, with these orders then packed and sent the following business day; being Tuesday.

We currently do not operate a customer collection or pick up service from our main store location, and are required to have all customer orders packed and sent from our store through a Courier service.
All customer orders are required to be placed through our secure online checkout as we currently do not accept customer collections or cash payments from our store location due to not offering collections at this time.

Shipping Costs

Currently we offer a flat rate delivery fee per item depending on the Postcode area the delivery is being made to throughout Australia.

  • Excess on-forwarding, offshore and bulk package charges may apply to some orders throughout Australia.
  • In the case of any excess charges, you will be contacted by a customer service representative prior to sending your order.
  • Unfortunately we are currently unable to make delivery to the numerous island towns off the coast of Australia.

Shipping Addresses

Customer delivery addresses stored by Home Storage & Living must be either business or Residential addresses; Home Storage & Living are unable to deliver customer parcels to PO Box addresses due to the size and nature of our parcels.

All parcels are sent to the address supplied during the checkout. Home Storage & Living will not bear responsibility for items delivered to an incorrect address due to incorrectly supplied information

Shipping Special Instructions

Where a customer has given an authority to leave to complete a delivery without a signature required, either in the special instructions field or using our delivery form field, Home Storage & Living will not bear responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged packages.

Shipping Costs on Sales and Reductions

Where Home Storage & Living provides percentage off deals or sales, this sale amount or percentage does not include postage and delivery costs unless otherwise stated.  Percentage off mark downs and coupon codes will not be applied to shipping costs on customer orders unless stated. All FREE SHIPPING coupon codes are limit 1 use per customer.

Personal or protected information is deemed to be any information which is obtained indirectly or directly during the course of browsing our website. Home Storage & Living may store your IP internet address and subsequent visited pages in order to monitor website traffic and for reporting purposes. We do not disclose or distribute any information obtained to any third party operators. Any obtained information is temporary, and is not recorded or kept for prior reference.

Personal information may be obtained during the course of browsing our website by means of account sign up, newsletter sign up, emails or other forms of data entry. Personal customer account information is stored by Home Storage & Living for the purpose of fulfilling customer orders, customer requests and special means products, and at no stage is supplied to any third party personnel without prior permission.

Whilst browsing the website, Home Storage & Living may ask you to provide personal information, including your email address. This email address is only used for the purposes disclosed. Home Storage & Living may contact you using the provided email, only in regards to matters it was supplied for. At no stage is your email address supplied to any third party personnel and is only used for administration or sales purposes of Home Storage & Living only.

Home Storage & Living offers newsletter updates which require customers personal email addresses. Customers are able to opt out of such marketing material emails at any time by clicking the 'Unsubscribe' link at the bottom of any email. The customer will then be automatically removed from our mailing list.

At no time is customer credit card information stored or passed to third party personal. Home Storage & Living may make amendments to this Privacy Policy at any time, it is recommended to customers to check this Privacy Information regularly to be made aware of any changes.

Home Storage & Living offers a 7 Day 100% Money Back Guarantee. If you receive your order and you wish to cancel your order for any reason, you have 7 Days from the date you have received your products to make contact with a Home Storage & Living Customer Service Representative for a ‘No Questions Asked, 100% Money Back Guarantee’.

Customers must cover the cost of return shipping and any subsequent packing material. Should you require Home Storage & Living to take care of the return shipping, you will be contacted by email from a Customer Service Representative outlining the day of collection, and the cost of return shipping. Collection of any return items is to be from original shipping address and return shipping fee will then be deducted from your purchase refund should you wish to proceed. This refund policy only covers unused and unopened items. Goods must be sent back in original condition in the original packaging with internal and external tags still attached. Proof of Purchase must be supplied when returning goods. All refunds will then be processed to the original account of payment once Home Storage & Living have received all goods.

If you receive your goods and wish to exchange your received goods for other products within our range, you are more than welcome to return your goods within 7 days of receiving. Customers must cover the cost of return shipping and any subsequent packing material. Should you require Home Storage & Living to take care of the return shipping, you will be contacted via email by a Customer Service Representative outlining the day of collection, and the cost of return shipping. Goods must be sent back in original condition in their original packaging with internal and external tags still attached. Once your original order has been returned to Home Storage & Living, we will then process and send your exchange items. Customers are required to cover the cost of redelivery for any exchange items which is charged at the original flat rate of freight on the order.
Home Storage & Living do not accept returns due to a change in price or price reduction on sale items. Home Storage & Living reserves the right to make amendments to pricing at any time.
Sale items are unable to be held for purchase at a later date. No rainchecks.

Please choose your products carefully, any products received that are deemed different than described will fall under our Money Back Guarantee offer and customers will need to cover the cost of return shipping on their items, including differences in colour. Home Storage & Living takes every necessary precaution to make sure all product information, colours, descriptions and materials are kept up to date and accurate however due to most items being individually hand made some minor differences can occur. Unfortunately returns and exchanges are not accepted on used items.

 8. Refund and Return Policy

In the unlikely event you receive any product from us which is faulty, broken or damaged in transit, Home Storage & Living offer customers a 7 day full product replacement offer. Contact must be made to a Home Storage & Living Customer Service Representative within the 7 day time period from when goods are received. Should a product be ‘Out of Stock’ when attempting to obtain a replacement product, customers are offered a full price refund and refund of any postage paid.

Necessary proof of purchase and evidence to support refund claim must be supplied in order to receive full refund of purchase price and any relevant shipping costs. Home Storage & Living covers the cost of shipping to send replacement products. Customers will be instructed by the Customer Service Representative of what measures to take regarding the damaged stock. Should Home Storage & Living instruct that the damaged goods be returned, Home Storage & Living will cover the cost of the return shipping.
Home Storage & Living do not accept returns due to a change in price or price reduction on sale items. Home Storage & Living reserves the right to make amendments to pricing at any time. Refunds are currently not accepted once items have been used.

What if 7 days has passed?

If 7 days has passed since you have received your order, unfortunately you are no longer covered by our Refund and Return Policy or Money back Guarantee offer. Due to the nature and use of our products, 7 days is deemed sufficient in finding product faults and damages, or deciding to exercise our Money back Guarantee Offer.

 9. Shop Orders and Quotations

Any customers requesting product quotations can do so by make contact with a Customer Service Representative by email. Customer Service Representatives will then have the necessary quotation emailed back as soon as possible. All item quotes are only valid for a period of 2 weeks, after which unpaid or unprocessed customer quotations will be cancelled from our system. 

 10. Correction of Discrepancies and Errors

Whilst Home Storage & Living makes every effort possible to keep our site accurate and up to date, there are sometimes minor errors which may appear on our website. Home Storage & Living reserves the right to change any errors with pricing, quantity’s, descriptions, discrepancies at it’s discretion without any prior notification.

Online fraud and credit card fraud are not tolerated by Home Storage & Living. Please be advised, all transactions and personnel found to be fraudulent or partaking in fraudulent activity will be punished and acted upon to the full extent of the law.
